Bluedot Partners with Hubject to Open More Charging Networks to Fleet Drivers
As an e-mobility service provider (eMSP) on Hubject's platform, Bluedot will give fleets, including autonomous vehicle operators, access to additional charging networks through the same Bluedot account they already use.

Menlo Park, CA. October 6, 2026.
Bluedot, the EV fleet charging and payments platform owned by Epic Charging, is partnering with Hubject, the company behind the intercharge eRoaming network, to expand the charging networks available to Bluedot drivers. Under the agreement, Bluedot works with Hubject as an e-mobility service provider (eMSP), the service that authorizes a driver's session and handles payment when they charge on a network they are not directly signed up with. For fleets, the result is more places to charge without new apps, cards, or accounts.
The partnership is part of a broader agreement between Hubject and Epic Charging, which also brings Epic-powered charging networks into Hubject's ecosystem. Read the Epic Charging announcement.
Fleets don't choose chargers by network
Vehicles charge where the route takes them. Every network a fleet can't use means a detour, a delay, or an out-of-pocket expense that someone has to reconcile later.
Bluedot already gives fleet drivers access to over 80% of public chargers in the U.S. from one app. Roaming is how that access keeps growing. Instead of building a separate, one-to-one connection with every charging network, an eMSP connected to Hubject can reach networks on Hubject's platform through a standardized connection.
Where roaming fits
Roaming handles authorization: confirming that the driver's account can pay for the session on a network operated by someone else. That is Bluedot's role for fleets, and the focus of this partnership.
Built for fleets with no one behind the wheel
Autonomous vehicle fleets raise the stakes. The person plugging in is a fleet operator handling many vehicles, not a driver with a personal app or card. Access and payment have to follow the vehicle, not the person, on every network it may use. That is the layer Bluedot provides as an eMSP: authorizing the session and settling the payment on behalf of the fleet. Every network Bluedot can reach through Hubject is another place an autonomous fleet can charge without a separate account or agreement with each network.
Hubject sees the same shift coming. "Supporting Bluedot’s vision is exciting, especially as they tackle the unique charging demands of AV fleets," said Nate Steele, BD Manager of Hubject North America. "Together, we’re removing network fragmentation so autonomous operations can run reliably and uninterrupted."

What changes for Bluedot customers
- More networks, same account. As networks connected through Hubject become available in Bluedot, fleets will reach them through the account they already use.
- Same billing and reporting. Sessions on those networks are designed to flow into the same automated billing and fleet dashboard as every other Bluedot session.
- Nothing new for drivers or operators. No extra app, card, or signup.
Bluedot will share which networks become available, and when, as they go live.
"Whether a vehicle has a driver or not, it charges where the route takes it. Every network we add through Hubject is another place a fleet, human-driven or autonomous, can charge and pay without a new account or a one-off agreement." (Joe Zulewski, Head of Sales, Epic Charging)
